Lags for hours!

The locations of my kids will lag or stick in one location for hours! My husband and son stopped for dinner when I first checked my sons location, they left the diner and went to an event 25 miles form there. An hour later I had to call my husband to be sure my son did not lose his phone! The map did not update for hours later and never showed the out of town location at all!
